This sweet and sour sauce is so tasty and can be used as a sauce for other dishes.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon pine nuts
4 vegetarian fish fillets
Sweet & sour sauce
1/3 cup apple vinegar
¼ cup ketchup
½ cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon corn flour
Instructions
- Toast pine nuts in a frying pan until browned (without oil). Remove and set aside.
- Heat oil and fry the fish fillets until browned on both sides. Transfer to a plate.
- Mix together all ingredients of the sweet & sour sauce and put in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and cook until the sauce is slightly sticky.
