If you don’t like to put raw eggs in tiramisu like me, you should make a homemade eggless tiramisu. Here is an easy and quick recipe when you’re craving for something creamy and delicious.
Ingredients for 2 servings
- 6 ladyfingers
- cocoa powder for dusting
espresso syrup
- 32g water
- 40g sugar
- 60g espresso
- 25g Bailey’s
mascarpone fillng
- 75g heavy cream
- 120g mascarpone
- 13g sugar
- vanilla extract
Directions
- For the espresso syrup, combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer until sugar has dissolved. Stir occasionally. Let it cool down a bit, then add espresso and Bailey’s.
- For the filling, whip the cream, mascarpone, sugar and vanilla extract until it forms into soft peaks. Fold the cream into the mascarpone.
- Dip the ladyfingers into the syrup and take out at once before they become too soggy. Place them in the cup or a shallow baking dish. Break apart to fit the cup if necessary. Spread half of the filling evenly. Place another layer of ladyfingers on top and smooth the top with the remaining filling.
- Cover and refrigerate for a few hours. Dust a coating of cocoa powder on top before serving.
